Raise money for refugees and migrants
There are so many ways you can raise money for refugees and migrants. From DJ nights to workplace bake sales, there is something for everyone. Every penny you raise will do something amazing, powering everything from our immigration advice, our weekly foodbank to our national campaigns.
Get physical
It could be a sponsored walk, cycle or run – or anything that gets you moving! Set a target, set up a JustGiving page, and tell everyone you’re putting your legs to the test for refugees and migrants.
Don’t forget we’ve also got places in challenge events throughout the UK too. We've got everything from 5k races to marathons. Check our events out here.

Get creative
Are you an expert cake maker? Great at making homemade cards? A real crochet whizz? Use your skills for good buy by selling your work.
The easiest way to sell your wares is by setting up a JustGiving page, and posting about your fundraiser on social media, or by sending a message or email to friends, family and colleagues. Once people have made their donation, you send them their item. They receive a beautiful homemade item, and you raise funds for refugees and migrants!

Workplace fundraising
Get your workplace involved! Ask if you can host an event at your offices, or if your colleagues will help you. And if your employer offers charity matched funding, even better. We can also offer running event spaces to workplace teams.
If your company has charity partnership opportunities, we’d love to chat with you about becoming a corporate partner. Just pop Rebecca an email, and we’ll go from there.

School fundraising
There are loads of opportunities to bring refugee and migrant issues to life at your school, whether you’re teaching PSHE, learning about climate change, or reading The Boy at the Back of the Class.
This is the perfect time to host a fundraiser, whether it’s a non-uniform day, sports day or book sale. You could do this with your class, or as a wider school activity. Ask children to bring in £1 to take part, or send a JustGiving link around to parents.

Fundraise in your community
Want to do something locally, but not sure what? Get your faith group or local community group involved.
You could host a harvest festival collection for our food bank, ask your pub to dedicate their next pub quiz to us, or ask local businesses to collect donations for us at the till.
You can also support us as you shop through Give As You Live - it's the perfect way to donate funds to refugees and migrants whilst buying those essential items.
